Approach by car : If driving from Aigües on the CV-775 road, before reaching Relleu and after passing between two houses that are one on each side of the road, just 100 meters away there is a road that goes to the left on the rise with indications of Finca Teuladi and Ferrata Figueret. We continue along and after several road bends we can see the Figueret crest.By a crossroads we continue on the right handside and 300 meters on the left handside we’ll see the information board with the indications to the ferrata. At that point there’s space for a couple of cars to park.
Approach to the beginning of the ferrata : From the information board we go up the ground path (not in good shape) and gradually is gaining height and getting narrow until we reach the wood pole where the signs indicate us to leave the track to keep going up through a path in strong ascent (left). This path goes little by little in continuous ascent until reaching the beginning of the ferrata way.
Description of the Ferrata : The ferrata begins with a very simple horizontal crossing that serves to warm up and to practice for those who are beginners. It continues through a small wall in which the progression is simple and take us to a ledge. We make a small crossing and climb another small ledge. Then we continue along a fairly vertical wall where better take it easy due to its length. Then we’ll found a change of slope in which the ferrata happens to be more lying down until arriving at a chain. We climb a plate and get into the beginning of the edge. A few meters ahead we have an area to rest.
We continue along the crest, simple but where we must not neglect security. We will arrive at a rappel on two chemicals points from which we will descend in a rappel of 28 meters. (There is another rappel a few meters foward in case there are crowds).
Once the rappel is done, a few meters below we will find a cable for you to assure your safety cable. We continue through and after a steep descent the cable section ends.
Return : Once the cable section ends, there are several downhill paths which take us to the pass between the Figueret mountain and a hill that facing over. From the hill we continue to the path, already well defined, and leads us along the mountain to the ferrata turn signal wood post and a little further on to the information board.
