Approach by car :
It can be accessed both from Castellnovo and from Soneja towns.
If we approach from Castellnovo we have to go along the CV-200 road towards the town of Almedijar about 1 km away from Castellnovo, and then on the left hand side there is a detour with direction to Soneja and Azuebar. We take the CV-2182 road and after 1 km 200 meters, on the left, we’ll find a fountain with a watering hole, and the possibility of parking a couple of cars there.
Just in front of the fountain there is a ground track going into the olive trees groves.
If we come from Sonejar we get towards Almedijar on the CV-2182 road and in 4 km we’ll reach the same parking point. In this case the source and the watering hole is on the right.

Approach to the beginning ferrata :
We have to take as reference the rocky area with hardly any trees in front of the fountain, so by that rocky area we’ll find the ferrata. From the parking lot we take the ground track wich is just 15 meters from the water source, then we enter through it between stone terraces and we will reach the river bed and continue along the track until approaching 300 meters from the mountain. Then we have to continue in a straight line between the stone terraces til the feet of the mountain and we will see that an ascending path with several zigzags leaves us at the feet of the ferrata.

Description of the Ferrata : it is a fairly short ferrata that has the greatest difficulty at the beginning of it, so once this small stone crash has been accomplished, the wall is less vertical and after about 10 meters appears on the left a handrail of a rectangle shape that returns to the ferrata. We continue the ascent and as a curiosity you’ll find climbing dams, after another 10 meters we reach a horizontal section that leaves us on the rappel area.

Return : The ideal is to return in abseil because is very simple and leaves us again at the beginning of the ferrata, so we will only have to take the same approaching path we took in the beginning.
