FERRATA DE REDOVÁN (sport track).
It is one of the most complete ferratas in the Region of Valencia.

Approach by car : The Ferrata car park is located in the town of Redován near the swimmingpool and sports center. Once entering in Redován we get towards the upper part of the town and follow the Sports Center indications. The parking is just 40 meters from the entrance of the swimmingpool and sports center.
Approach by ferrata :
The entrance is very evidente. He have to leave the parking lot by a path just where there is an information board with the ferrata description on it. By the crossroads you will find some indications and then an ascending path that first crossing goes to the left handside, and after passing a thalweg, another crossing is taken again and now to the right handside and just 5 minutes after will take us on the same wall of the beginning of the ferrata.
Description of the Ferrata :
After acheaving the family section we have an approximation of 5 minutes on the left handside. The beginning of the ferrata begins with a slightly outbound rock for about 50 meters, which quickly gains height and provides a great feeling. After the first vertical sections we reach a horizontal section going by a small ledge taht connects again with another vertical section. Then we reach the 1st platform after resting for a while and enjoying the panoramic views so the ferrata continues through another vertical section until reaching a hinge or pendulum (quite funny) with the option of not doing it and pass it horizontally. After again a vertical section to reach a different section of ferrata, an inverted staircase (climbs looking towards the horizon); then we have to reach the second platform and after this, a small vertical section and now a fairly long horizontal section, which leads us to a suspension bridge (which is at the top of the ferrata… spectacular) and after just 30 meters the equipped section ends.
Return :
Once the equipped section is finished you have to climb about 15 meters to connect with a path. Then we follow it to the right handside (down) with local path marks (white and green painted). The path is evident and goes along the top of the Sierra, losing height little by Little so after 15 minutes it makes a right turn losing height faster, and connects with another PR path (white and yellow marks) and without leaving it we reach the back of the sports center and just 100 meters to the parking lot.
